PIECEWORK PRO — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 18, 2026

Piecework Pro ("the app", "we") helps a unionized drywall/insulation piecework worker tally work, track earnings, and generate invoices. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address (email/password or Google sign-in). As you use the app, it stores the work data you enter: job and area tallies (drywall, insulation, steel, corner beads, extras), your union rate settings, pay period records, and the invoices you generate. We do not collect your location or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to run the app for you: calculating your piecework earnings under the LOCAL 675 rate agreement, tracking pay periods, and generating your invoices as PDFs. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else — Piecework Pro is a single-user app; nothing you enter is visible to other Piecework Pro users.

Where it's stored

If you're signed in, your app data (jobs, rates, pay periods, invoices, profile info) is synced to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) under your own account, encrypted in transit, and kept in sync with your device. Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing; we never see or store your payment card details.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete just your work data (keeping your account) or delete your account entirely — both options are available any time from within the app, or see our account deletion page. Both remove your data from the cloud and from your device. Deletion is permanent.

Children

Piecework Pro is a professional trade tool intended for adults working in construction. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
